At Franklin Hospital, your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. New Zealand has adopted the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic light system) effective from 1 December 2021. As Auckland is in the red traffic light system, we have adjusted our visitor and patient policies to reflect these changes. At all times, our nurses and specialists will adhere to strict hygiene and infection prevention control according to Ministry of Health Covid-19 protocols. These measures are for staff and patient safety and we appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
We require that all patients coming into Franklin Hospital will have a swab 72 hours before admission and provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to admission.
