Katherine Sowden
Gynaecologist
Consults monthly on a Thursday and Saturday (all day) and Friday (afternoon)
Katherine has three daughters and is passionate about women’s health and the delivery of patient focused care. In addition to her private practice, Katherine currently leads the Gynaecology Service for Counties Manukau Health and has been a Consultant Gynaecologist there since 2004. She was appointed Clinical Lead for Gynaecology in 2014. Katherine is also currently the departmental lead for non-tertiary gynaecological oncology where she is particularly interested in the management of premalignant gynaecological conditions.
