Specialist Suites
As part of Franklin Hospital’s aim to provide holistic clinical care to the Franklin Community, Franklin Specialist Suites opened in February 2022. We have engaged with a range of specialists to consult with patients referred by their local GP’s without the hassle of travelling out of Franklin.
The primary goal of the facility is to bring holistic healthcare to the Franklin community which brings Specialists to Pukekohe to facilitate a faster referral process.
This is the only specialist centre currently in Pukekohe or surrounding areas. Our aim is to get patients seen by specialists within 2 weeks from initial referral.
The service will enable patients in the Franklin area to be seen close to home and therefore reducing the need to travel into Auckland. This will be a huge benefit for those not wanting to travel into Auckland.
Our specialists are of a high calibre and have been practicing in their specialist areas for many years. Should surgery be required this may be performed at Franklin Hospital. The Specialist Suites caters to self-paying patients and ACC patients.
The rooms are private and provide a comfortable environment for patients to discuss their care and recovery plans with their specialists.
The rooms are staffed by Franklin Hospital staff who will ensure that all patients and their whanau feel comfortable and confident when discussing their care.
