Neil Stewart
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Neil is a quadruple fellowship–trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in disorders of the hip, knee, and shoulder, including revision arthroplasty and sports orthopaedics. He has undertaken advanced training and held clinical appointments at leading orthopaedic centres in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London, and Fortius Clinic, London. This has provided him with a broad and contemporary foundation in evidence-based patient care.
Prior to entering medicine, Neil practised as a physiotherapist. This background informs his clinical practice and supports an integrated approach to both non-operative and operative management, with careful consideration of rehabilitation, functional outcomes and long-term recovery.
Neil is recognised for his technical precision, sound clinical judgment, commitment to patient safety and optimal outcomes. He places strong emphasis on clear communication and adherence to best-practice standards. His practice is grounded in professionalism, academic rigor, and a commitment to continuous improvement in orthopaedic care.
