Rocco Pitto
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Born in Genoa, Italy, Rocco has held the position of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, since 2001. He is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Auckland Bioengineering Institute.
Rocco’s clinical practice focuses on total hip replacement through both anterior and posterior approaches, and total knee replacement using computer-assisted technologies. He also has extensive experience in management of upper and lower limb trauma.
